Ground meat sandwich spreads have a long history in American community cooking — economical, portable, and easy to prepare in quantity for church dinners and family gatherings. Terri Board's version, run through a grinder with onion and bound with salad dressing, belongs to the tradition of NE Ohio church ladies who knew how to make a little go a long way.
