Bisquick, introduced in 1931, represented a genuine revolution in American home baking — a pre-mixed flour blend that put quick breads within reach of countless home cooks. This one-pan banana bread is a classic example: everything goes right into the loaf pan, stirs together with a fork, and bakes into something warm and homey. A recipe from Mom's kitchen.
Ingredients
2 eggs
1/3 c vegetable oil
½ c mashed ripe bananas
½ tsp vanilla
2⅓ c Bisquick
½ c chopped nuts
Instructions
Heat oven to 350°. Generously grease bottom of loaf pan (9×5×3).
Stir all ingredients in pan with fork until moistened. Beat vigorously 1 minute.
Bake until toothpick comes out clean, 55 to 65 minutes.
